Upon joining the Dutch National Ballet, she has appeared in celebrated performances, such as: The Sleeping Beauty, Back to Bach, Giselle, Hans van Manen, and Cinderella, to name a few. Michaela had the principal roles in Notenkraker en Muizenkoning and Coppelia. As a soloist, she danced in the production of Best of Balanchine: Tarantella. Twice, she performed for Women in the World Summit, also Children in Conflict and the dance festival Jacob Pillow, to name a few.
Earlier this year, Michaela starred in the world’s first-ever animation with real life dancing feature film, Coppelia. The film debuted at Cannes Film Festival in France to much critical acclaim with plans to travel to other film festivals around the world, debuting in cinemas later this fall.
